total loss of time and money. Useless product July 20, 2010 Richka 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used eMachines before and was satisfied but this product EZ1601-01 All in one desktop, is a disaster from start to finish. My webmaster was furious when he heard I had bought it without first getting his advice and said it was out of date even before it was made. It arrived in 2 days, good, but I soon found out the CPU and power on this machine is practically none and I can do nothing with it actually. Of course I didn't expect a high powered desk top for that price, but this machine is totally ridiculous. I can't use it at all, I could give it away but no body wants it. So it sits in a closet and will stay there as a total waste of money and time. I don't blame Amazon but their policy of return is truly outrageous. I can return it at a loss of $89 from the price I paid for it, $448.00, plus postage in returning. BUT THAT is just NOT FAIR at all.
IF AMAZON FELT AT ALL RESPONSIBLE, THEY WOULD OFFER A FULL REFUND OR ELSE GIVE AS CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT.

Buy this pc based on the reviews, but I was totally disappointed because I could not utilize the functions of office because the product key is wrong ... I will put in the trash because I can not return.
Love it! June 14, 2010 L. J. Alsup (St. Louis, MO) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We purchased this machine for the owner of the property to use and couldn't be more pleased. It is compact and easy to set up and configure. We were looking for something still loaded with Windows XP to mesh with our current network. Luckily this computer has XP installed. The screen is sharp and clear in resolution and the size of the viewing area is perfect. It boots quickly and connects to the internet very efficiently. We've been recommending this to others looking for a replacement machine that will deliver on the basics.
so so May 30, 2010 T. Chavez 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I wouldn't buy this product again. Although it is very compact which is nice, it runs very slow. I have had problems with it freezing up when I get too many programs open at the same time. I'm already looking into buying a different computer and I've only had this one for a few months. Spend the extra couple hundred dollars and buy a real desktop.

My wife loves how fast it works. Nice looking machine and picture. And out of the box it was easy to assemble and set up. The wireless connection was a snap and on the internet in just a minute. So far no problems at all and last night my wife mentioned how much she is enjoying using it.
